Why should people like you volunteer at the radio?
To help, make a difference and make a contribution. The radio allows you to develop as a person and develop skills that will benefit you. When I think about it I am very blessed to have this opportunity, my words/show may put a smile on some ones face or something I say may make a positive difference to somebody, these are all good deeds in the bank. Volunteering for radio Ikhlas boosts my Imaan and helps me get closer to Allah swt. I remember about 8 years ago I spoke to Tanny to say I wanted to volunteer, but I didn’t manage to do anything because of other things coming in the way and being a little bit scared. I would urge everyone 1st to make sincere intentions and then just do it. Inshallah you will see the difference it has on so many levels. May Allah swt give us all the courage to help in whatever capacity Inshallah.
